When you live with 4 boys (OK, 3 boys and 1 husband,) you have a LOT of laundry. It’s not just regular laundry either. It’s dirty, stinky, dirty, messy, dirty clothes. Did I mention dirty? Sometimes, I’m not even sure how they get so dirty.
Their clothes are covered in food stains, mud, sweat, grass stains, and some other substances I can’t quite identify. Just using laundry detergent doesn’t cut it. I need something to remove the stains while keeping the clothes in good shape. Even though I love to shop, I can’t afford to go out and buy them new things every time they spill something (darn those leaky sippy cups,) or fall into something (they always find the puddles.)
So, when ESPRO Sports Cleaner contacted me, and asked if I would like to try their products, I immediately said YES!!!!
Espro Sports Cleaner
ESPRO Sports Cleaner is made by Environmental Sports Products, and was developed by a high school football coach named Steve Dean. He saw a need for a product that could get out tough stains on his team’s uniforms. Football players get covered in dirt, grass, and blood stains, so Steve wanted something that would clean those tough stains, remove odors, while also being friendly to the environment.
Even though we aren’t sports players yet (OK, we did play T-ball, ) ESPRO Sports Cleaner is great for any type of clothing that gets stained. Plus, it works as a multi-purpose cleaner around the house. It’s great for your carpet, furniture, car, and tile floors. Since it does not have harmful chemicals like bleach, butyl, or phosphates I can feel good using it around my 3 kiddos.
So how did it work? You be the judge:
First up, my kid’s sheets. All I have to say about them is YUCK. They seem to drool A LOT, and it leaves a dirty, stinky stain. It doesn’t help that they always sleep in the same spot, and get mad when they have clean sheets. I guess it’s comforting to sleep in your own drool spot? These were pretty old, ground in stains, as they have been washed many times without a stain remover (and I DO wash them a lot, even with the protests.) The instructions recommend spraying it, then letting it sit for 24 hours, treating it again, then washing it. So,that’s what I did.
For fresh stains, you simply spray it, scrub it in, let it sit for 3-5 minutes and wash.
Here’s the before and after.
Next, I wanted to try our living room carpet. The kids are notorious for spilling anything and everything there. As soon as they are 18, we’re saying goodbye. I’m talking about to the carpet, of course. But, until then, here’s how the ESPRO Sports Cleaner did on some mysterious stains. I’m guessing it’s prune juice, since that’s been the flavor of the week.
Finally, my husband had a shirt with some yucky armpit stains. I could actually see them getting better as I scrubbed the ESPRO Sports Cleaner on it. Here’s the final result.
Overall, I think this ESPRO Sports Cleaner is a winner. Everything looked and smelled better. Much, much better. It’s easy to use, and a LOT cheaper than buying new clothes all the time. To purchase your own cleaner or to read more about it, you can visit ESPRO HERE.

Got one boy of my own and another on the way. Glad to hear there’s a solution because the piles of clothes that have been mounted on the washing machine are threatening to devour the entire house.
Ha! You should see my laundry room! 😉

I definitely need to look for a stain remover for me to use, that looks like magic!
It really worked so well! 🙂
Oh wow I wish I knew about this when my boys were growing. I have 5 boys and 1 girl. Let me tell you y girl could get just as dirty as the boys. I was surprised on how well this worked looking at the pictures. I still will have to get some because I have 3 little grandchildren and my biggest boy ever, my husband.
Yes, it really was amazing! Thank you!

Hmmm I wonder if it would work on super grimy machinist clothing? I swear my boyfriends clothes all have a thick layer of skuzz on them from the coolant. It is the GROSSEST thing!
I’m betting it would! 🙂
Wow, this looks like good stuff! There are so many stain products out there and I feel like I’m always trying a new one to see if it’s any better than the last one. I might have to try this one. Our main dining area is carpeted and we constantly have little stains on the floor. Ugh. So I’d definitely love to wipe some of those out! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
The results from using these products are amazing! I know my boyfriends under shirts get stains on them from sweating throughout the day and sometimes the stains don’t come out. I will have to check these products out! Thank You for sharing!

I have the drool issue with my oldest son, and he’s 19! This product is amazing! I can’t believe how many stains you removed.
Ha! That’s funny about your son being 19 and still drooling…although I’m sure mine will too. Yes, I was really happy it removed the stains.
Oh I remember those days! Thank goodness they’re old enough to do their own laundry…not that they do it, but that’s a whole other blog post, hehe :).
I need to get this for my daughter. She has two boys and her laundry is never ending :).
You’re welcome! Thanks Cori!

Wow! That really looks like it works extremely well! I might have to check that out for my guys. We have the same problems as your boys lol.
It really did!
I have two girls so we don’t quite have boy dirt lol but I am always looking at their clothes wondering how it is humanly possible to get that dirty. This product looks like it is the key to keeping their things like new!
I know! I really don’t remember getting that dirty as a kid! 🙂
Nice! I definitely have some carpet stains I’d like to clean up. Thanks for showcasing this brand!

My son is notoriously dirty! What is it about boys!
They are just gross 😉
Love Buncha Farmers to use for my stain remover. However, reading that this doesn’t have any yucky chemicals I need to see if i can try this out
Looks like this worked great!! Congrats! This looks awesome!
That looks like a great product to use for cleaning stains. We don’t have kids, but we have two cats that can make messes on the carpet, and the spray we use to clean it now, is so strong it gives me a headache. I will have to look for this product for sure.
Yes. It did great at removing the odors too.
Those armpit stains never come out ! Need to check this out just for that !

Wow! I gotta say, I’m actually really impressed with ESPRO. I’m in property management and we use similar carpeting in all of our homes. Some stains are just too stubborn. We often find ourselves ripping up perfectly good carpet because we can’t lift them out. I’m going to suggest this stuff for sure.
Awesome! Thanks Heather!
Robyn Proctor Hinkle says
That is some impressive cleaner! 🙂
It really is!
Wow, it looks like Espro really works. Thanks for the laundry tip!

I really don’t know 🙂 thanks!

I will definitely have to try this! You would be surprised though, my 10 month old daughter is way messier than my son every was. Even though he is 2.5 year old. I also agree with you about the man child though!! Lord knows they are messier than both children lol.
Ha! Ha! Yes!
I have never heard of this brand before so thanks for introducing me to it!

I am in a house with 3 boys and a hubby too! 🙂 I think I might need to get this. My husband is usually the dirtier of the bunch because he does insulation work so this might be what I need when he gets home. THANKS!
You’re welcome! Thank you!
Stefanie (@LexieLooDylan2) says
Yeah, I think I might have to try this! My regular stain remover just isn’t cutting it anymore!
My husband owns a construction company, so I see some crazy grease stains! Thanks for introducing this product. Pinned as well!
You’re welcome. Thank you!
That is amazing! This is the first time I heard about this brand and I would love to try it. Tough stains are hard to remove, I think this will work for me.
Elizabeth O. says
Yep, it’s definitely a challenge to deal with laundry with a house full of kids. Espro seems like it would do the trick for me!
Andrea T says
I’ve never heard of them, but I have a feeling it would be great with my husband’s hockey gear. That thing smells! And it looked like it worked wonders on the sheets and the armpit stain (the bane of my existence at this point – I threw away so many nice undershirts because of those puppies!)
Yes! Tons of sports teams use it!
Never heard of this, but I generally stick to products that are environmentally friendly. I have not found an effective one for carpet, so I’m definitely checking this one out. We often have art class in the only part of our house that happens to have carpet, so, you know there are definitely some ‘imperfections’ on our carpet!
Oh yes. Our carpet is one big imperfection 😉
Jaclyn Kent says
Haha I love your picture! I’m amazed with the sweat stains!
Wow! Very cool miracle spray! I know all about stubborn stains with 5 kids running around my house. Will have to check them out!
Ha ha! Yes!
I babysit 5 boys! I could really use this!
Yes! Boys are all so messy! 🙂
lol on sleeping in your own drool spot. That may be comforting but sneaking to clean em is comforting to us, hahaha

That product seems awesome! I can’t imagine having to clean up after a house full of boys but this seems to do wonders!
It is not fun, but the product did work wonders 🙂
Amanda @Blissful Gal says
Ummmm don’t call that “ESPRO.” The name should be more like “Miracle Spray That Gets Out Anything” (: Even as a girl, I can be messy or have the occasional wine spill on my dress, so this would be perfect
Thank you Amanda!
