Sneak Preview Saturday

November 14, 2015 By Shann 31 Comments

The Week Ahead

I know I usually do my weekly preview on Sunday, but I have so many exciting things coming up, I wanted to share them with you today. Plus, I’m going to take a little break or maybe catch up on some things on Sunday. As you know from this POST, I’m not going to be posting everyday. I haven’t figured out a schedule quite yet, but when I do, you’ll be the first to know.

Thank You!

Before I get to the week ahead, I wanted to thank everyone who stopped by yesterday. I had a chance to learn more about Diabetes, and specifically, Type 1 Diabetes, from my friend Dennis. He graciously agreed to be featured on the blog, and I’m so happy many of you found out more information about the disease. If you didn’t get a chance, please read about Dennis and his story HERE.ย Feel free to share the post and spread awareness for National Diabetes Awareness Month.

Now, let’s get to it…

Monday

We’ll meet another family for Micro Preemie Mondays. I love sharing these stories of hope with you. It is especially important this month, as it is Premature Birth Awareness Month. Any baby born before 38 weeks is considered born Premature, but a Micro Preemie is a baby that is born very early, and is very small. On the blog, this is the guideline I use:

Micro Preemie
Guidelines used on this Blog for a Micro Preemie

If you have a story that you’d like to share, but you don’t fit into these guidelines exactly, that’s OK. It’s my hope to spread awareness, and I want everyone to feel welcome. It’s simply a guideline.

Tuesday

Tuesday, November 17th is World Prematurity Day. It is my hope to share pictures of all my readers wearing Purple, as it’s the color of Premature Birth Awareness. Please post from now until Monday on my Facebook Page Wall, message me, or email me at shanneva@yahoo.com. I will also be sharing the twins birth story, in case you haven’t read it.

Premature Birth Awarenss Month

Wednesday

As of right now, Wednesday will be a day off.

Thursday

I have some Online money-saving tips lined up for you. I’ve also got a couple of friends who will be sharing some additional ways to save money. Perfect for the upcoming holidays, so you’ll want to make sure to read all of the posts.

Friday

I have a fun Thanksgiving craft for you! Hopefully my boys haven’t destroyed it by then.

Off in the not too distant future…

Can you believe we’re almost halfway through November? I already need to do a mid-month check up on my goals. Oh boy. Plus, I still have an excellent way for you to Countdown to Christmas, which I’ll be sharing soon.

I hope you’re enjoying your Saturday! ย Are you doing anything fun this weekend? ย And please, please, please get me some Purple pictures!

I have a very spot in my heart for the mother of 3 boys. I too have 3 boys and a sweet daughter. Having boys makes us stronger and wiser and no one loves their mamas like boys. Great post
    xoxo Mickey

Those hats were my first purchase for the twins. I finally felt like they were actually going to come home, and could buy them stuff.

I like the preview! I have never made it known to my readers what to expect from me the upcoming week. That would help them stay more engaged and ready for what you have to share. Christmas is around the corner!
