Autumn
Autumn is definitely one of my favorite times of year. I just celebrated my birthday, our wedding anniversary is in a couple of weeks, and my oldest, Mr. B’s birthday is also coming up. How can he be turning 7? Not possible.
Even though we usually only have about 3 warm months in WI, I love when the weather gets a little bit cooler in the Fall. I think this summer was the first time I have worn shorts in years. I just enjoy wearing pants, sweatshirts, and boots. I’m not so excited about the winter versions, but I’m just going to put that out of my mind for now.
Back to Autumn.
The last few weeks have been a little stressful with the beginnings of a lot of things…potty training, preschool, first grade, work, and more potty training…but, we’re starting to get the hang of just about everything. Routines are becoming more routine, and we’re all getting into the groove.
Time to find some fun things to do!
Autumn Bucket List
We seriously rocked our Summer Bucket List. The only thing we missed was camping, but half of us (Mr. B and Dad) completed that one.
I think the key to success is keeping it simple. As I mentioned, we have plenty of other stresses going on in our lives, so a bucket list should be easy and fun.
Here we go…
- Play in the Leaves
- Make an Autumn Craft
- Visit a Pumpkin Patch
- Carve and/or decorate Pumpkins
- Bake Pumpkin seeds (this actually should say more…since we’ve done this already!)
- Pick apples
- Have a bonfire in the backyard…with S’mores, of course
- Have a living room campout
So, that’s it! Simple, easy, and fun. I think we should be able to check off all of these items, and enjoy our Autumn.
How about your? Have you made an Autumn Bucket List yet? Do you enjoy making lists as much as me?!

This is a great list to have with littles. I am just wishing it would start to feel a little like fall her in South Carolina. It is often not fall weather until Christmas here. Something I am still not used to having moved here from NJ three years ago. Have a great fall!

Picking apples would be so awesome! I’ve never done that before. Sounds like a great autumn bucket list 🙂

Those are some great ideas! I’m looking forward to apple picking with my family in a few weeks!

I really want to have a bonfire this year. Last year I was wearing shorts at Christmas. So I really hope that we get a Fall this year. I also want to go to a pumpkin patch. I have never been at least in my adult years.

What a great autumn bucket list! Love all of it! We used to love going to the pumpkin patch when Leonie was smaller! Just yesterday we went through some old pics from when she was 5 yo – all the feels! xxx

I shared my bucket list today too! Great minds think alike! I’ve never had pumpkin seeds! I’m going to have to change that this fall!

You have a fantastic list and I love that you have already made pumpkin seeds. A living room campout and making smores in the firepower outside were some of my favourite things to do as a kid.

I love it! I love fall so much that my family went apple picking 7 times last fall because they love me that much.
It’s just now getting cool here and I’m ready to enjoy some hot apple cider. Possibly with some apple cider donuts.
