Last Minute Mother’s Day Gifts
Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching. Too rapidly if you ask me. How can it already be mid-May?! Did you get your mom/wife/girlfriend/grandma/awesome woman in your life a cool gift yet? No? Well, I’ve got some last minute mother’s day gifts and ideas for everyone on your list.
I’m sharing the gifts I would love to receive or love to give. Not all are gifts you have to buy. I mentioned last week that giving/receiving presents is one of the ways I show and feel love. They don’t have to be expensive or from a store, they just have to have some meaning behind them.

I love when my boys make me just about anything. I also love photographs or gifts with their pictures, and personalized anything. You could give me a pair of socks with my name or my boys’ names on them, and my day would be made.
Also, not all gifts have to be an actual thing. One of the best gifts is when my husband knows I need a break, and let’s me escape for a few child-free hours. Or other times when my boys are being sweet, and want to cuddle or sleep in bed with me, that’s a pretty awesome gift.
Or watching them sleep. Aren’t they always adorable when they are sleeping?! They look like they would never cause any mischief.
For My Mother’s Day
I’m pretty lucky that I usually get a combination of both gifts and love on Mother’s Day.
Since I was pregnant with Mr. B, we started a tradition of brunch with both sets of our parents. It’s so wonderful for us both to spend time with our moms, and now for the boys to be with both sets of grandparents. We go to a restaurant, so no one has to cook or prepare for guests.
Then I get to go spend the afternoon with my mom, doing what we do best. You guessed it. Shopping.
Gifts from the heart and hands
I don’t think I know a mom who doesn’t love getting a handmade gift. It doesn’t have to be fancy or elaborate, but it is nice if it isn’t made the morning of Mother’s Day. So, Dads, I’m talking to you. Please work with your kids today!
Make mom a painting, a card, use handprints. Use her favorite color or draw her favorite things.
Here is a favorite that Mr. B made me:
If crafting isn’t your thing, that’s OK too. Find a photo of your kids, and get it blown up to at least an 8 X 10. Get a nice frame. Done. Easy. Great for Grandparents too. (Click thru the picture to find these frames via my Amazon Affiliate Link)
Last Minute Mother’s Day Gifts you can still buy
If something handmade isn’t going to cut it, you still have time to buy something. I know my husband is really intimidated and scared to go into stores, so I have the perfect solution:
Amazon.
Most items will ship in 2 days, and some can even be sent same day. That doesn’t mean you should wait until Sunday. Go to Amazon now.
There are tons of ideas already on Amazon, but if nothing is jumping out at you, I’ve picked a few things out. They may be cheesy and funny, but I think any mom would like them. I know I would.
Click thru any picture to go directly to the product. They are my Amazon affiliate links, which means I make a commission at no additional cost to you.
If you don’t have free 2-day or same day shipping with Amazon Prime, now is the perfect time to try it FREE for 30 days. We LOVE it. Just click below.
Now, let’s get to all the cool gifts.
The Gifts
I didn’t pick out any jewelry because women all have different tastes in jewelry. I’m more of a silver person, but you probably can’t go wrong with anything that has diamonds in it. Hee hee. So, if you get a piece of jewelry, how about something for mom to hang her jewelry on? I would love one of these organizers to keep all my necklaces and bracelets from being in one giant clump in my bathroom drawer.
Even if she’s a working mom, chances are she likes to be comfortable at least some of the time. I think this t-shirt is super cute.
And what mom doesn’t drink wine?
Or if not wine, then coffee or tea?

I hope that helped you find your last minute Mother’s Day gifts. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, I’d love to hear them in the comments below!

These are all such great ideas! I love the wine glasses and coffee mugs! And the boy mom shirt because I’m right there with you! I haven’t bought anything for my mom or mother in law yet, eek. I’ll figure something out though! I think I might have to have the kiddo make something!

Fun ideas! I got my mom a pedicure for Mother’s Day. I really like experience gifts. I know I used to make my mom a lot when I was younger though and I think that DIY can almost mean more than store bought.

Great ideas! Photos are always my go-to backup idea for any gift. Luckily this year we’re doing experiences instead of gifts so I just have to pay for brunch 🙂
