Can you believe we’ve reached the middle of September already. Yeah, me neither. It’s already getting dark so much earlier, and there’s even a chill in the air. Fall is definitely here. Although in Wisconsin, next week just might be 90 degrees.
Now, moving on to my September goals. Let’s see how we’re doing so far this month.
Oh wait! I almost forgot…the winner of 5 books of their choice from Mascot Books! Drum Roll please….
Dana Peller! You are the winner! Please be on the lookout for an email from me with all the details. Congratulations!
Now, back to work.
Here were my goals at the beginning of the month, in case you don’t remember or need a reminder like me, followed by my progress so far.
- Get a good routine going with school
So far, I’m happy to report that September is going really well. We’re only in the first whole week of school (we’ve had two 4-day weeks,) and we haven’t missed the bus yet. We also have remembered our lunch, projects, gym shoes, and even library books. Sometimes it’s a bit of a rush, but we’re working on it. I think by the end of the month, I’ll have a good report.
- Get to the gym at least 3 times a week with the twins
Since joining the gym on September 1st, we have been to the gym A LOT. The first week, I took the twins 3 times. Last week, we again went Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, then this past weekend our whole family went both Saturday and Sunday. Even my oldest got to go play in the childcare for an hour.
- Have fun on my birthday
I had a great birthday weekend. I got to do some shopping, and spend time with my family. My parent’s took us out to a Japanese steak house on Saturday, then on Sunday, my husband took me out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant. After, one of our friends met us for a drink. On Monday (Sept 7th) my actual birthday, it was Labor Day, so everyone was home. We went over to my parents and grilled out, then me and mom hung out watching the Bachelor Pad.
- Follow through with our Date Nights
Even though they were combined with other things, we’ve had two date nights so far! Woo Hoo! I’m counting my Sunday night birthday dinner, since we were alone, as the first. The second, we had a March of Dimes party. We got to get dressed up, have drinks and fancy food. We also got to share our story, which just made the night even more special.
- Don’t stress out as much
While we’re only half way through the month, it’s been super busy. So far, I think I’m doing pretty good with my stress level. We had a pretty rough sleeping night with the twins last night, so today I was a little more stressed than usual, but I’m getting to bed early, and I think it will be a good week.
So far September, so good. How are you doing this month? Has it been a good one so far?
Happy Birthday!!! Let me know how you accomplish that last one. 🙂 We could use some pointers around here…
I’ll have to keep you posted….:)

Nice. I hope we both can do it!

Great progress. Keep up the good work. Especially with the gym. It’s really easy to start slacking… But stay motivated.

Yay! I love goal posts! It’s such a great way to hold yourself accountable! Keep up the good work, girl!
I need to remember not to stress out so much and just enjoy all of life’s moments that happen around me. With the wedding approaching (54 days) we are tying up all of the loose ends! Ack! Where’s my cuppa tea to relax me 🙂
Ha! Yes, you need to relax, and have fun planning. I’m so excited for you!

Happy Birthday! Looks like you are up to par with mid September! You are one busy gal. For me, it is all about business.
September is the time of year where people get more serious about their work. The kids are off to school and there is more free time to spend on working online.
I’m focusing on building my list and have been working on that. I started September 1 and can say it has been successful so far. (happy dance) I also completed a free offer as a lead magnet and all I have to do is put it up next week.
Nice. Sounds like you’re doing great too! Here’s to a successful September!
These sound like awesome goals! I definitely should set some goals for myself! This post inspires me to at least try to set some! Thanks!
You’re welcome. Thanks for stopping by.

I’m so excited that I won!!! YAYAYYAYAYA! Good for you regarding your gym routine! I wish I was good about exercising…I want to get into yoga so badly but am afraid to do it at home in case I hurt myself LOLOL
Congratulations! I’ll be sending you an email shortly. You’re too funny about hurting yourself doing yoga. 🙂
What a great way to keep yourself on track for all of your September goals! Looks like you’re doing an amazing job. Happy belated Birthday 🙂

So glad you are reaching your goals. You birthday looked so fun. Happy birthday!
Happy Belated Birthday!! Great job on meeting most of your goals mid-month. I have not even put up my goals yet for this month. I have been slacking due to being on vacation recently. I can’t believe that September is almost over! It’s crazy! There has been a little bit of a chill in the air here in TX as well. Its kind of nice but then again the weather may be back to 90 degrees again.
September is definitely going by way too fast! Thanks for stopping by Mistle 🙂

Good job on keeping up with your goals!! And super good job going to the gym! That is the one thing I have the hardest time with.
Congrats to the winner! You have some great, achievable goals listed. Keep pushing through and I know you’ll realize them. Have fun on those date nights!
The Trophy WifeStyle says
Ahhh I need to hit the gym more! It’s always a goal of mine and then idk… Life happens and the gym is always what gets pushed aside for something else -_-
Understandable. However, with the childcare option, it makes it so much easier.
These are great goals! It was cool “seeing” you at the gym the other day. Working out three times a week is my goal too. And datenights 🙂 they work wonders on our relationship.
Ha! Thank you…my hair was out of control 🙂 Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it 🙂
Yay so awesome! Glad that you are going very strong on your goals. I am strongly considering taking my daughter with me to the gym because I need to stop making excuses lol. Keep going strong!! We are almost done.
Thank you! The kids really love going to the gym child care, so it makes it so much easier.

Good work! I know you’ll have a positive report at the end of the month. 🙂
