September Goals, Mid Month Check-up

September 15, 2015 By Shann 57 Comments

Can you believe we’ve reached the middle of September already. Yeah, me neither.ย It’s already getting dark so much earlier, and there’s even a chill in the air. Fall is definitely here. Although in Wisconsin, next week just might be 90 degrees.

Now, moving on to my September goals.ย Let’s see how we’re doing so far this month.

September goals (1)Oh wait! I almost forgot…the winner of 5 books of their choice from Mascot Books! Drum Roll please….

Dana Peller! You are the winner! Please be on the lookout for an email from me with all the details. Congratulations!

Now, back to work.

Here were my goals at the beginning of the month, in case you don’t remember or need a reminder like me, followed by my progress so far.

  • Get a good routine going with school

So far, I’m happy to report that September is going really well. We’re only in the first whole week of school (we’ve had two 4-day weeks,) and we haven’t missed the bus yet. We also have remembered our lunch, projects, gym shoes, and even library books. Sometimes it’s a bit of a rush, but we’re working on it. I think by the end of the month, I’ll have a good report.

  • Get to the gym at least 3 times a week with the twins

Since joining the gym on September 1st, we have been to the gym A LOT. The first week, I took the twins 3 times. Last week, we again went Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, then this past weekend our whole family went both Saturday and Sunday. Even my oldest got to go play in the childcare for an hour.

  • Have fun on ย my birthday

I had a great birthday weekend. I got to do some shopping, and spend time with my family. My parent’s took us out to a Japanese steak house on Saturday, then on Sunday, my husband took me out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant. After, one of our friends met us for a drink. On Monday (Sept 7th) my actual birthday, it was Labor Day, so everyone was home. We went over to my parents and grilled out, then me and mom hung out watching the Bachelor Pad.

SEptember Wins

  • Follow through with our Date Nights

Even though they were combined with other things, we’ve had two date nights so far! Woo Hoo! I’m counting my Sunday night birthday dinner, since we were alone, as the first. The second, we had a March of Dimes party. We got to get dressed up, have drinks and fancy food. We also got to share our story, which just made the night even more special.

  • Don’t stress out as much

While we’re only half way through the month, it’s been super busy. So far, I think I’m doing pretty good with my stress level. We had a pretty rough sleeping night with the twins last night, so today I was a little more stressed than usual, but I’m getting to bed early, and I think it will be a good week.

So far September, so good. How are you doing this month? Has it been a good one so far?

    Hi Shann,

Happy Birthday! Looks like you are up to par with mid September! You are one busy gal. For me, it is all about business.

September is the time of year where people get more serious about their work. The kids are off to school and there is more free time to spend on working online.

I’m focusing on building my list and have been working on that. I started September 1 and can say it has been successful so far. (happy dance) I also completed a free offer as a lead magnet and all I have to do is put it up next week.

I can’t believe that September is almost over! It’s crazy! There has been a little bit of a chill in the air here in TX as well.
