Summer gift guide

Summer Gift Guide

It’s almost summer! To start the season off right, I’ve come up with a summer gift guide. There are so many special events that take place over the summer, I want you to be prepared…and me too. I’ve come up with ideas for graduation gifts, Father’s Day, birthdays, or just fun summer parties.

*This is not a sponsored post, however, I have been gifted some of the items in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. I’ve also included Amazon affiliate links. Simply click through the picture or link to be taken to the product. There is no additional cost to you, and I may receive a small commission.

For the Grad

Whether you have a college grad, a high school grad, or a kindergarten grad (like me!) I think books make great gifts. One of my favorites is by Dr. Seuss called Oh, The Places You’ll Go!

Not only can you get the book, but you can also get this awesome gift set to go along with it. It includes a journal, picture frame, and puzzle.

And for JUST the College Grads, I thought this one was too funny not to include.

For the Dad

I don’t know about you, but I always have a hard time finding a gift for the men in my life. Neither my Husband or Dad is a big cologne person, and I feel like I always get them clothes, so this year I wanted to do something different.

What is one thing that any man would enjoy?

Besides beer.

Lounging…while drinking a beer, of course.

I got this hammock for my husband for his birthday, thinking he could take it on their summer camping trips. Instead, he hung it in our backyard, and takes a lounge every night after the kids go to sleep.

This one also comes with a mosquito net, and bonus first aid kit…all great for camping!

If you don’t have any big trees, this one with its own stand is pretty awesome looking.

For Yourself

Summer is the time that many of us are focused on a lot of activities, but we can’t forget to take care of ourselves. If you’re like me and one of the last people on the planet not to own one yet, a fitness tracker is an awesome gift. I know I would love one. Hint. Hint.

Summer is also a great time to take care of your skin. I was sent this Elite Serum Rx, and I love it. I’d been searching for something to use around the skin near my eyes. I’m pretty sensitive, but this has no scent, and absorbs really fast.

summer gift guide for her

It comes in this syringe, so that you can just release a small amount. I’ve been putting it on every night, and I’m starting to see some of the fine lines decrease. I’m anxious to see how I look in a month or so.

For Everyone

Heading to the beach? Here are some perfect essentials for everyone!

Who doesn’t need a cute beach towel?

Not only is this super cool, but it’s made out of microfiber, so it absorbs more. It also is huge! There are so many different patterns to choose from, sports, animals, food, in case you’re not a VW Bus fanatic.

Summer gift guide for everyone on your list. From gifts for grads to gifts for dads, there's something special for everyone on your summer gift list.

One Last Summer Gift

This last summer gift is something anyone would enjoy. I was sent this beautiful watch from JORD, and it’s perfect. I had never seen a wooden watch like this before, and it’s just so pretty. The quality is amazing, and I love the way they sent it to me. It came in its own wooden box on a cute little pillow. My son has already claimed the box as his own…so it’s like two gifts in one.

Even my husband, who isn’t a huge watch person, was intrigued. He took a look at their site, and loved all the different colors, shapes, and sizes that they come in.

It was also very easy to order. You simply use their measuring tool, and they give you the size. I was notified as soon as it shipped, and they even included extra links, in case it was too tight. It fit perfectly!

I chose the dark sandalwood, and you can find it HERE.

So which summer gift was your favorite? Who are you gifting this summer?

What a great list! I love giving that Dr. Seuss book for gifts. A friend of mine started one for her kids. She has the teacher sign it every year and will give it to them on graduation! Definitely something to think about for your little ones!

I bought myself a very similar hammock and stand for Mothers Day a couple years ago and it is the best! It’s so nice to escape outside with a book and swing for awhile!

<3 your JORD watch! So pretty and stunning on you (and yes, I think this would make a perfect anyone gift!). Also your hammock idea–amazing. I hadn't thought about that, but I feel my dad would love that as well. Thanks for sharing!

I really need to start taking better care of my skin; I’m no spring chicken anymore and I’m not getting any younger. Lol!
I’m dying to set up this hammock you can hang in a tree that Jeff picked up from Costco. I love hammocks, they’re so relaxing and peaceful to lay in, under the sun, with a book or just a gentle rock and perhaps SNOOZE.
Have a great day hun! xo
