October 2017
October 2017 is here! We finally turned off our air conditioner, and I’ve stopped myself from turning on the heat…so far. September was a busy, fun month, but I’m glad to start fresh with some new goals and ideas.
I caught some kind of cold/virus/yuck to celebrate the last few days of the month, so I need to work on improving my immune system. I’m totally blaming my germs children. It didn’t help that I hadn’t been sleeping well, so it caught me off guard.
So, I got plenty of rest on Sunday, and tried my best to get back into the routine yesterday. I think I’ll be back to my old self in a couple more days.
Let’s take a look at how the rest of September went.

You did great in September and have awesome goals set for October. Today was the first time in 9 years that I had blog post done and scheduled ahead of time. I do not know why I don’t do that all the time. Way less stress.
Shann Eva says
I know! Yet, I never do it.

You nailed September!! That closet one has been on my list for a long time too. Stuck the door and don’t worry about it. lol

Ha ha! thanks Penny!

Those are all great goals! I am planning to have a fun Halloween too. My kiddo isn’t feeling it so far and I want to show him that it is a lot of fun! We at least picked a costume! I have to say I love the Fonzie picture, my sister in law and I have a running joke about Fonzie. When I was in Milwaukee last year it was my goal to take a picture with that statue but I never found it! I will do it the next time I visit!

Ha! Too funny. He’s right on the Riverwalk….and you better call me too 🙂

You did amazing with your goals last month girl!! I will admit that I am so bad with responding back to emails in a timely manner (for the most part). I seriously need to get better with that too! Oh no to being sick that last few days of last month. That is never fun at all! I also want to write some of my posts ahead of time this month (lets see if that actually happens). Good luck with your goals this month!! You got this!

Thanks Mistle!

Congrats on everything you accomplished in September and good luck with all of your upcoming goals for this month! Especially with decluttering your closet, that would be a project I would LOVE to do!

Sounds like you did pretty good on your goals last month!! I totally can relate to the “needing to be more patient” with my family at the end of the day. I feel like by 5pm I’m at the end of my rope and I totally need to just take a chill pill. haha
San says
That sounds like solid September, girl… good job on the goal front! 🙂
I hope you’re going to have a great anniversary this month!

Ha ha, I almost always put my goal that I’ve put off the longest at the top–it definitely ensures that it will get read by me more, anyway (every time I glance at the list!). And we totally had to turn on our heat in September, which was just kinda sad…it’s like we’ve almost hopped right into winter here!

You rocked your September goals! Love your new purse 🙂 I need to get better with responding to comments in a timely manner as well. Cleaning out my closet is on my list too- more specifically, getting rid of 50 items! Good luck with your October goals!
Shann Eva says
50 items! That’s impressive!

You guys had such a fun September! Also! Your hubby owns a VW Bus?! SO NEAT!!
Hope you are starting to feel better and that the kiddos are settling into a routine. Rushing to catch the school bus doesn’t sound like fun and I’m glad you haven’t had to do that yet. Best of luck with your goals for October–I’m sure you’ll get around to cleaning out that closet this month! XOXO
Shann Eva says
I’m working on it right now…ugh. Worse than I thought.

Hey girl,
I’m so, SO behind on catching up on my blog reading. I’m so sorry.
As always, your goals post is always envious and you without a doubt almost always knock most or almost all of your things on your list. Always inspiring.
We finally turned our AC off and it is finally feeling like fall, especially in the mornings and evenings. Last night, while I was pumping gas, I was complaining to myself that it felt like winter for crying out loud! LOL! I’m a bit dramatic, I’ll admit.
I hope you all get better. You guys must rotate and share all the germies and sickness like mad, eh? Sending you good vibes and wishing you a great month of October, as always. 🙂 xox
Shann Eva says
Thanks my dear. No worries! And the best to you this October too!
