Sick Days and Auction Winners

Sick Days

As stay at home mom, you don’t often get sick days. Sure, you still get sick, but you have to keep on doing what you’re doing. Well, today, is one of my sick days. I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck, then run over again a few times. Luckily, I have the most helpful, loving grandparents who came and picked up the boys for the morning.

I’ve taken some Advil, and I’m heading to bed with a heating pad. However, I couldn’t not write something, since the Auction finished yesterday morning.

While we didn’t make as much money as last year, and I don’t have the grand total quite yet, I would definitely call it a success. I was completely in awe and so grateful to everyone that donated and bid on everything. We had such beautiful handmade items. People donated from their businesses, and people used their own money to buy gift cards. I love when people come together for such a great cause.

So, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped out. Even if you didn’t get a chance to bid, so many people shared my posts, shared the blog, and really showed us how much you care. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

I’ve tried to make contact with all the winners, but if you haven’t received a message, I will get to you tomorrow. I’m hoping to share the grand total tomorrow or Thursday.

I’ve also got some new posts coming up, lots to tell you about my new job, and updates on the kids too. But, this mommy needs some quality time with her bed right now. Plus, did I mention that we’re the Ambassador Family for the March of Dimes March for Babies in our area? Maybe once or twice. Well, you can expect to hear much more as we get closer to the walk date of April 30th.

Hope you’re feeling good this Tuesday, and I’ll be back as soon as I’m able.

Oh man, sorry you were sick. I was sick about 2 weeks ago. It wasn’t fun. Then my kids got sick.
