August Goals with a July Update

August 2, 2016 By Shann 27 Comments

August Goals

Only one more month of Summer vacation! Maybe even less, for some of you. So, I figured I’d better get to my August goals, and fast. With all of the activities, trips, and preparations for back-to-school, it’s going to be a busy one.

August goals

Before I get to my August goals, let’s take a look back at July and see what happened.

July Goals

1.Make reservations for Birthday Trip to Las Vegas. Airfare reservations DONE…..Hotel…not yet.

2.Create Magic for my little Ballerinas. I’m already halfway through the summer session! Things are going great, and I can’t wait to finish out the summer and get my Fall schedule all set.

3.Get our Routine back. Mr. B finished summer school successfully, the twins and I went to the gym a lot, and story hours with Grandpa. The only hiccup was our sleeping routine.

4.Potty Training Boot Camp. Not Done. At the beginning of the month, I tried to encourage the potty, but it really wasn’t happening. I then realized I didn’t want to have to take them to the bathroom on the airplane, so Boot Camp will happen this month.

July actually felt a little hectic, and the sleep deprivation from the twins waking up all the time didn’t help much. We’ve had a couple successful nights lately, so I’m hoping we continue with that pattern. Even though August is filled on the calendar, it’s a lot of fun stuff. I really want to make the most out of it, so here’s the August goals:

August Goals

1.Finish July Goals This includes hotel reservations for Vegas, finishing out the summer session strong, and completing Potty Training Boot Camp.

2.Finish our Summer Bucket List.

3.Knock out as many from my 30 before 40 list as I can.

4.Get to the Gym at least 3 times a week. With everything else going on, I don’t want to neglect my health or fitness.

Those goals should keep us pretty busy right up until school starts. Wish us luck…I think we made need it!

What goals have you made for yourself this month? Have you been having a fun and/or productive summer?

I need to start writing out my goals more! I did hear that anything you write down you are more likely to accomplish too. Good luck with August goals!

Loved reading your goals. For August, I’m focusing the most on my health. We are going to be traveling a lot, and I want to build the willpower to eat healthy snacks while on the road instead of fast food. Also, I usually never exercise when we are on vacation, but this time I’m going to bring my running shoes and actually USE THEM. Best of luck with your August goals!

Good luck, sounds like some fun things planned! I wrote down my goals for the month and I have a lot, lol. Some business goals along with some personal goals. But it gives me the push that I need.
