Fridays and Fitness

June 5, 2015 By Shann 29 Comments

I have to say that I’m pretty glad this week is over.  I don’t know if it was the full moon, but no one has been in a good mood.  My kids were out of control.  I’ve been a little overly sensitive too, so that hasn’t been helping.

What has been helping?  Exercise!  I’ve been getting back into the routine of working out to go along with my healthy eating plan.  I’m still going to Ballet once a week, and I’ve added in Yoga, a little Cardio, and some weight training.

Honestly, though, it’s been the reduction of calories and eating healthy that has helped me lose the most weight.  I’m down 15 lbs!  However, now I need to start toning up.

So, I’ve come up with Fitness Fridays.

Each Friday, I’m going to give you an update on my eating, an update on my exercising, then I’m going to share my favorite workout of the week.

I figure if I’m going to be telling you about it, it will help keep me more accountable, and maybe motivate some of you to try something new.

First up, I’m going to tell you about taking Ballet as an adult, why I love it, and why you’ll want to try it too.

Then, maybe I’ll have a guest post from this guy about his crazy “Yoga” moves.  Ha!

TGIF!  Hope your Friday is great!

Babies are so funny but sometimes is very hard to be a full day mom. Gymn is always a good solution for body and mind 🙂

Exercise helps me SO much when I am stressed. I notice that during the weeks I am not very active, I get grumpy so much easier and just don’t feel like myself.

This is SUCH a great idea! I’ve been trying to get back into exercising (I miss the days when I had to walk to class in college… I was so thin from all of the exercise!) but it’s been hard. Maybe a little accountability would help. 🙂
