I have to say that I’m pretty glad this week is over. I don’t know if it was the full moon, but no one has been in a good mood. My kids were out of control. I’ve been a little overly sensitive too, so that hasn’t been helping.
What has been helping? Exercise! I’ve been getting back into the routine of working out to go along with my healthy eating plan. I’m still going to Ballet once a week, and I’ve added in Yoga, a little Cardio, and some weight training.
Honestly, though, it’s been the reduction of calories and eating healthy that has helped me lose the most weight. I’m down 15 lbs! However, now I need to start toning up.
So, I’ve come up with Fitness Fridays.
Each Friday, I’m going to give you an update on my eating, an update on my exercising, then I’m going to share my favorite workout of the week.
I figure if I’m going to be telling you about it, it will help keep me more accountable, and maybe motivate some of you to try something new.
First up, I’m going to tell you about taking Ballet as an adult, why I love it, and why you’ll want to try it too.
Then, maybe I’ll have a guest post from this guy about his crazy “Yoga” moves. Ha!
TGIF! Hope your Friday is great!

I really want to get more into yoga. Earlier this year I did a week long detox and blogged everyday and it def made me more accountable!! Good luck! I can’t wait to follow along!
Thank you Brittany! And thank you for following along!
Love when my 3 yr old does yoga moves! Daddy has to teach her though because she won’t listen to me!
Have a great weekend!

Go you! I blog about my weight loss on Wednesdays and it does help me to stay accountable 🙂 And I always feel better on the days I exercise than when I don’t more productive for sure!

Babies are so funny but sometimes is very hard to be a full day mom. Gymn is always a good solution for body and mind 🙂
Yes, it is hard! Thanks Barbara!
Yoga is so great!! I recently got into it myself, now my daughter goes to a kiddie yoga on Saturday!❤️
That is awesome! We have a kid and mom yoga program at our library.
Good for you for sticking with your eating and exercise plans! I love yoga and am about 10 days in to a 30 day squat challenge. Yipes, my legs are barkin’! Have a great weekend.
Wow..good for you! A squat challenge sounds intense! Thanks and have a great weekend too.
Congrats on the 15lb loss, Shann! You’re doing amazing! And that picture is pretty awesome, I love the way the sun is behind you 🙂 Can’t wait for the guest post on yoga moves 😉
Thank you so much Trish! I really appreciate the support. Hope my Yoga moves don’t disappoint 🙂

Looks like a great way to motivate your readers and yourself 🙂
Thank you Michelle!
Exercise helps me SO much when I am stressed. I notice that during the weeks I am not very active, I get grumpy so much easier and just don’t feel like myself.
Yes! Me too!
Fitness Fridays is a great way to recap + stay accountable on healthy living! :]! That’s awesome! My friend just took up ballet and absolutely loves it! It’d be hilarious to see your son “guest post” with some crazy yoga moves! ;P

This is SUCH a great idea! I’ve been trying to get back into exercising (I miss the days when I had to walk to class in college… I was so thin from all of the exercise!) but it’s been hard. Maybe a little accountability would help. 🙂
And Possibly Dinosaurs
Thank you so much Caitlin! I hope you will follow along 🙂
