I’m officially a #30DayWriter

July 30, 2015 By Shann 76 Comments

I did it! I completed the challenge as of today.  30 posts in 30 days!

#30DayWriter

Honestly, I had been posting every day for a little while before the challenge started, but this made it official. It also made me feel like a part of something and really held me accountable. There were a few days I was really exhausted, and didn’t even want to turn on my computer, but I pushed ahead. I’m really proud that I completed the #30DayWriter Challenge.

So, what was the #30DayWriter challenge all about?

A fellow blogger started the challenge because she had just started a new blog. She wanted to motivate herself and others to get writing and fill their blogs with great content.  She started a group on Facebook, which I joined, and everyone shared their blogs or their struggles with posts.  Not everyone was able to write everyday because sometimes life just gets in the way…and that’s OK too.

In celebration of finishing, I wanted to share my Top Ten Posts from the last 30 (as determined by you, my readers.)  If you’d like to read (or reread) any of the posts, you can click on the link or the picture.

Here we go:

#1 Recovering from trauma, but still experiencing triggers

This post was really personal for me, and I’m so glad so many of you read it and shared it with others who may need help.

#2 Home with your Preemie

#3 Road Trip Part 3 – Sheboygan, WI

#4 All Micro Preemie Mondays

I could pick just one! Every Monday, I’m so honored and happy you come back and read these amazing stories.  These little babies are the most courageous people, and I’m so glad I can spread a little awareness about Premature Birth.

#5 Mothers of Multiples Clubs

#6 My First Pregnancy

Instead of talking about the twins and their pregnancy, I spent some time discussing my first-born. I’m glad you want to get to know him too.

If you haven’t had a chance to read any of the posts above, I hope you will.  I really appreciate all the support you all show me, and I can’t wait to keep writing.

Do you like reading new posts every day?  Is it too much?  Please let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

I love daily posts. I personally have that goal to and 99% of the time have achieved this. I really enjoy the creative freedom it gives me. I also think it gives your readers something new to start their day with or gives them something to check out while they have a break in their day. Just my two cents 🙂

I LOVE your post on PTSD and how it’s not just limited to soldiers. As a pediatric cancer survivor, I suffer from severe PTSD from some of the life threatening experiences I had from treatment and a lot of people don’t realize that it’s a legit illness that happens to others as well. Thanks for raising awareness on this very important issue!
