Self-care gifts aren’t all facial masks and wine.
Sure, sometimes they are, but there’s really more to it. Self-care gifts are things that make you feel better inside and out. At it’s root, self-care is about nurturing your body and mind, and making sure you feel good so that you can be at your best. It’s about being healthy in all aspects of your life, finding balance, and getting the things you need.
Those are different for everyone.
So, even though this post is entitled “self-care gifts that Everyone will love” it may not completely be true. I’m hoping, though, you will find at least one or two things that might bring a smile to your face and calm to your soul.
I also want this list to give ideas to the giver in your life. I actually feel my best when I’m giving gifts to people and making them happy.
Self-care gifts for me are sometimes gifts I give to others.
So, whether you’re giving these gifts to others or buying them for yourself, I really do feel like they are self-care gifts that everyone will love.
Feeling Your Best
Giving someone the gift of health is probably one of the best self care gifts around. While no one can really give an immune system or wipe out sickness with one thing, here are some things to help you get to your healthiest self.

Get Hydrated
Water, water, water. Everyone is always saying to drink more water, but it’s hard for me…and hard for lots of people. It’s just so important, though. Your body and vital organs need to stay hydrated in order for it to work at its optimum.
So, how do you make water more enticing? How about an awesome cup?
The Beast is amazing. It keeps your water nice and cold, comes with 2 reusable straws, a lid, and a straw cleaner. It comes in a ton of fun colors.
I also need my water to be cold in order to enjoy it, and this one does the trick for hours. While the Yeti is also pretty great, the price on this one can’t be beat.
Money saving money is a huge self-care gift too!
I get bored with plain water, so this fruit infusing bottle is super helpful.
It also comes with an insulating sleeve to keep the water cold.
Get Clean and Relax
My favorite kind of self-care gifts can be used in the one place I can be alone: The bathroom!
Long, hot showers are the best. They are even better when I lock the door and turn up the music to drown out the screams from my children. Obviously, I can only do this when my husband is also home so he can referee the boys.
But, it’s sooooo worth it.
I think this gift may be my favorite on the entire list.
Spongelle is fabulous. It’s a loofah and exfoliator with the soap already in it. It also smells unbelievable. I don’t think there’s a scent I haven’t loved, but Beach Grass is my favorite. Depending on size, they can last over 14 uses.
The whole experience is relaxing.
I mentioned earlier that I love to listen to music in the shower. Actually, I love to listen to music any chance I get. Packing lunches, cleaning, and making dinner seem less of a chore with some music on. A certain song can transport me to a different place and time. Plus, dance parties are always the best option.
So, even though I’m old school and still have CD’s and tapes, the easiest way to listen to music is our Amazon Echo or Dot.
We keep the Echo in the kitchen, and I got the Dot for Mr. B. I then can bring either into the bathroom, or any room, when I need my music fix.
Get Rest
Sleep does not come easily to me. Anxiety plays a huge part in this, so I have to work really hard with whatever I can control.
These self-care gifts may not make you sleep, but they have helped me get to a place where sleep comes a lot easier.
My favorite and must have item is the weighted blanket.
Currently, we have a twin size on our bed that only I use. It tends to pull all the rest of the blankets to my side, so I’d like to get the queen size next. Make sure you get the proper weight for you. They say it’s about 10% of your body weight.
I also need the room to be really dark and quiet. With a snoring husband and kids that can’t sleep without some sort of light on, that doesn’t happen on its own.
So, I rely on ear plugs and a face mask.
Not only does this mask keep out the light, but it’s soothing material.
I also use a satin or silk pillowcase, which is so much better for your hair and skin.
Heal Your Body
I put my body through a lot. From working out and teaching dance to chasing the kids and folding laundry, by the end of the day, I’m tired.
Recovery is one of the best gifts you can give your body.
As I’ve shared before, I love my heating pad.
This one hits both the neck and the back, the two spots we keep a lot of stress.
The other stressed out part of my body is my feet.
Not only does this massager make your feet feel better, but you can even slide your legs and hand in.
Look Better, Feel Better
I know I said self-care gifts weren’t all about face masks, but sometimes a good beauty product can do wonders. I find that if I’m looking better, I’m feeling better too.
These eye masks are wonderful.
Not only do they feel great on, but they help get rid of puffiness.
Speaking of feeling great, this Jade roller is a mini massage for your face.
It is so soothing, plus it helps with circulation.
Self-Care Gifts are for Everyone
No matter who you’re shopping for, self-care gifts are a great choice. Not only will the recipient feel better using them, but you can feel good about giving them.

I have been wanting a weighted blanket for my boys but they are hot sleepers and I worried it would be to warm for them. So many great ideas! Thanks for sharing!

It’s really not hot! I also get hot, and I can even use it during the summer 🙂

I love these gift ideas! Ways to entice yourself to drink more water are such a good idea. I also love all the massage equipment, I could definitely get some good use out of those!

This is an amazing gift list! I actually have that jade roller and I always forget about it, but it’s wonderful. Thanks for the reminder—I’ll use it tonight! And a weighted blanket sounds so nice right about now. And a foot massage. And that sponge thing with the soap inside. Omg all of these Lolol. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t sleep well most of the time either, and my sister said I should try a weighted blanket. I might need to look into one. I’m loving that heating pad too – need!!!

Blue has a really hard time sleeping, especially when those Sunday Scaries hit! She relies on her sleep mask and ear plugs, even on vacation (you never know who your neighbors will be!). I’ve never seen that heating pad vest- definitely adding it to her gift list! I don’t have a weighted blanket, but I sleep with 3 comforters (one down) so that kind of counts, right?! Great list!
